Dr. Hatim Bukhari received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 2003, the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2008, and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2016. After his B.S. degree, he worked for Siemens as a project engineer in the Power Transmission and Distribution department. Then, he joined King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) as a Radio Frequency (RF) researcher. After working in Different projects as an RF engineers, Dr. Hatim Bukhari went to University of Michigan to pursue his higher educations. He was part of the radiation laboratory team in the electrical engineering and computer science department at the university of Michigan. He worked with Professor Kamal Sarabandi in designing, simulating and fabricating ultra-wideband antennas for different applications. He is currently working for King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) as the co-Director of Center of excellence for telecom applications (CETA) which is a joint center between KACST and University of California San Diego (UCSD). His research areas of interest include ultra-wideband antenna design, electromagnetic wave propagation, and antenna miniaturization.
