Dr. Waleed graduated with bachelor degree in electrical engineering with first honor in 2005 from King Saud University. He also, get the award of the ideal student in the college of engineering. Furthermore, he won the first place in the best graduation project competition that is sponsored by the Advanced Electronic Company (AEC). Then, he worked in the research and development department at AEC. After that, he joined King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and participated in technology transfer projects. Then, he got a scholarship to do his graduate study at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor whereby he got master degree in electrical engineering in 2009, master degree in Applied Economic in 2013, and PhD in electrical engineering in 2014. Currently, Dr. Waleed is the director of "National Center for Radar and Electronic Warfare Technology" and the director of "Microwave Sensors Technology Joint Center" at KACST. Furthermore, he is an assistant professor and his research interest are in the RF Circuits, Antenna arrays, and Radars.
