Hussein Shaman

Dr Shaman received his B.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, U.K, in 2005 and 2008, respectively. In 2010, he joined the National Satellite Technology Center, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he was a Systems Engineer for Saudi SAT-4 satellite. He is currently the Head of Systems Engineering Office with the Advanced Sensors and Electronic Defense Center, KACST. He has authored or co-authored many research articles in scientific journals and the IEEE conference proceedings. He is a principle investigator of several joint research projects between King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology and University of Michigan, University of California San Diego (UCSD), and Arizona State University (ASU). His current research interests include RF/microwave devices, such as antennas and filters, for wireless communications, satellite, radar systems, and high impedance surfaces for radar cross section reduction and for low profile antennas. Dr. Shaman is a member of INCOSE and a Senior Member of IEEE and AIAA.
